Added the "BAD&G" battery cover bag. Had to locate and drill 4 holes in it. Surprised how soft the cover metal is. Drill went through it like "buttah."
The "Low Rider trim" was a bitch to remove. Ended up pouring MEK on the adhesive. That helped a lot! Here's some pics. Bear in mine that I have a "tallboy" seat installed. It's wider than the stock seat.
I barely feel the top edge of the bag when my legs are down. 31.5" inseam, btw.
When my legs are on the pegs, the bag disappears altogether.

I've got some stupid rattle on rear of the bike. I think it may be the brake light assembly, but it never rattles at idle. It's driving me crazy.
I dragged my exhaust pretty good the other day. I thought that maybe I loosened something up, but it seems fine. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this?
Hey Ikelove, I think I recall you have Vance and Hines big shot staggered on your bike. How loud are they? Can you cruise thru the neighborhood without upsetting the neighbors and setting off car alarms? Do you have the standard or quiet baffles? I currently have a Bassani slip on. I really like the look of the BSS but don't want something crazy loud. Thanks in advance.
Wow that paint Job is a hard act to follow, but me being the frugal type, I thought it might help out someone.
I needed some bags, but I don't like bags that are two large. I saw where Cycle Gear had their 'large tool bags' on sale for a little under 20 bucks. I bought two of them.
For mounting purposes, I chunked the nylon straps for a few zip ties. I mounted them to the struts. I have a local leather supply store down the road. I'm going to get a few skull conchos and add them to the bags. The quality is surely lacking compared to nicer bags, but these will do me for right now.
