Hey Ikelove, I think I recall you have Vance and Hines big shot staggered on your bike. How loud are they? Can you cruise thru the neighborhood without upsetting the neighbors and setting off car alarms? Do you have the standard or quiet baffles? I currently have a Bassani slip on. I really like the look of the BSS but don't want something crazy loud. Thanks in advance.
I love the sound of my pipes. They are loud but sound really good. Upsetting the neighbors is not a concern for me. I do not care what they think. Their likes and dislikes do not factor into anything I do. I have plenty of neighbors making their own racket.
My LR is loud but nowhere near as loud as my 2002 Camaro Z28 with a 408 stroker and long tubes (pics posted a few pages back). In fact, I am sure the neighbors prefer my LR to the Z28.
I have the quiet baffles because they give a deeper tone.
I figured out what that paint job reminds me of. Remember the TV series "V" from the 80's ? It reminds me of when the aliens peeled off their fake human skin and you seen the reptilian scales underneath.
kit05, you are one of the few LR owners to have custom paint. Very nicely done. Is this your first HD?
I have owned a few HDs over the years , FXR's and Dyna's, soft tails and a street glide . A few buells aswell .
I painted this bike and it took me around 100 hours . Started with all black base , flakes and airbrush , hand striping etc ... I think there is about a gallon of clearcoat on these parts lol 12 different coats of clear through the the different stages to achieve the end result

You have some serious skills. That is professional grade in my opinion.
Can anyone help a brotha out? I am trying to do the turn signal relo kit on a 2015 LR. The instructions want you to unbolt the tank and slide it back. But first you need to purge the high pressure fuel. I have the service manual and I'm stuck on step 1a LOL. I have another thread running here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...gnal-relo.html
Has anyone done this? I can't seem to find the fuel connector they are referring to. I found another procedure of removing the fuel pump fuse then starting but as you can see from my other thread the service manual does not mention that.
