By the way, I was hardly alone in my response. Notice you have not been back to that thread since. Why not? Plenty of people said what I said, so why don't you call them names too?

Don't come here and start some BS because you feel butt hurt.

If a dog is chasing you on your motorcycle, do whatever you feel is right but don't insult other forum members because they would do something else.

Okay here's an idea for a full fuel tank. This would only work if you didn't put the bike on the kick stand during or after fueling though.
If you use a charge card you could just sit on the bike and keep the bike off the kick stand. Fill that sucker level with that little hole in the filler neck. I bet you will have at least 4.7 gallons in the tank.
To get a real accurate fuel capacity you would have to fill it the same way the 2nd time.
Just an idea, but after filling this way make sure you run the bike for 40 or 50 miles before putting on the kick stand. Otherwise the extra fuel might run out the filler tube.

LOL...the best way to do it would be if anyone had a second gas tank from a LR and make sure it's completely empty then fill it measuring the amount of fuel it takes to fill it.

BTW, I just put sissy boy on my ignore list so the drama can stop...at least on my end.

And the name calling continues. The LR has a 4.7 gallon tank that I do not believe holds an actual 4.7 gallons of gas. Now call me some more names.
