Finally going to get a chance to ride a LR S later in the week. I saw one at my local dealer and I really liked the looks of the bike. Will have to see about the reach to the bars.

Let us know what you think of the LR S as compared to the LR after the ride.
I would really like the throttle by wire and cruise controller!
Anyone that did stage one; what route did you take?
I think I've settled on a TBR Comp-S 2 into 1 exhaust with a Roland Sands filter. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise, but, I'm looking into the DynoJet Power Vision auto tuner.... Any advice?

I've been following the FXDL threads since the beginning. Pipes and a/c are purely a matter of your own taste and opinions on sound. Tuners should suit whoever is actually tuning your bike and what they are comfortable working with.
I myself went with rb racing 2-1, ss dual cone and HD race tuner, very happy!...get what makes you happy, good luck
.......I would really like the throttle by wire.........
Why? I just sold my Street Glide that had throttle by wire, and I could tell no difference. Just something else that can go wrong, and throttle cables work just as well.
10" bars are about the max you can go without needing to swap cables and lines.
I run 12s with the stock cables and lines. You just need to reroute the stupid stock clutch routing and bend your front brake fittings a little. There was plenty of room for me.
