I ordered a quick release HD windshield for this winters riding. I usually prefer to be directly in the wind, but I'm getting softer in my old age and looking NoT to freeze my *** off this winter.

I've had detachable windshields on both my LR's and wouldn't be without them. I used to have a full face helmet when I rode rice burners, but now all my helmets are half and one 3/4 with a face shield and headset for winter riding on my bagger....I really appreciate it when I get home and it's covered in bugs...bugs that would have been on me...
Took the old lady for a ride today in more awesome Central Texas weather. Before leaving I switched out my Lucky Daves seat to my Mustang Vintage One-Piece and adjusted the preload on the Ohlins STX 36 shocks. Both the Mustang seat and shocks are relatively new. Well, she's extremely happy with the new seat and shocks. They're a world of difference from stock and she likes the passenger portion of the Mustang WAY better than that on the Lucky Daves. She was so happy she also liked the helmet my buddy's old lady was wearing, so came home and found a deal on one too. Keepin' her happy makes for great 2-up riding...
I did the same thing you did DynaKid94. Was able to ride Fri and Sun. Got about 150 miles in. Hoping to get a little more riding in this week but the riding season is coming to an end in my neck of the woods soon.
Ordered a memphis shades gauntlet fairing for mine yesterday, looking to keep some wind blast off my chest on the highway without going the windshield route. Hopefully it looks ok on the bike and helps some with wind, time will tell!
