If all goes well hope to have the bike in 2 or 3 weeks.

I have one other question.

Here is a picture of the bike. From the picture it appears to have has a full V&H exhaust versus slip ons?

Looks like she's all mine. HD dealer said that bike was in excellent condition. Only thing they mentioned was the rear tire was a bit worn. I mentioned it to the selling dealer and he may put a new back tire on it. Even if he doesn't I think it is a fair price (10k shipped from NC to NY). It is set up EXACTLY as I would do it.. Love the V&H exhaust, SE plug wires, open air, Stage 1, grips, axle nut covers and short sissy bar.

Mailing the paperwork and check back tomorrow. Bike should be in NY the week of 08/03/20!!! Will add pictures as soon as it arrives.

Can't wait. Last time I rode was June 2019. Last time I rode a Dyna (2005 FXDI) was March 2009, the day I foolishly traded my Dyna on a Geezer Glide (2009 Street Glide).

I don't plan to do too many things to it. Saddlebags, quick detach windshield, possibly an engine guard and highway pegs, leather brake lever covers with fringes (always do that to my bikes) and the HD doo dad that turns the turn signals into brake lights. Maybe a Corbin Dual Tour or a Mustang depending how comfortable or uncomfortable OEM seat is.

One question. Does the stock seat accept any sort of backrest?

you can put on a backrest with the stock seat but if you plan on riding 2 up much your passenger will tell you that seat has to go.

100% solo.

Last time the wife rode with me was 1982 before we were married. Riding back to NYC from Buffalo we spent three hours in torrential rain without rain gear, lol.

You might want to try the Sundowner seat from Harley. The passenger pad is like 4"...I had one on my '06 LR. By the way, if you had a 88TC before and now stepping up to the 103TC, HOLD ON! That 103 c.i with a good Stage I tune will run! You also will get terrific gas mileage because of the far superior power-to-weight ratio, and the excellent gearing...

Congrats, it's a great looking bike I think you'll love it. For me the stock seat is pretty good and what I use 95% of the time. I have the sundowner which goes on for when the wife rides (if we plan on more than 50 miles out). I have used the sundowner once without her and that was a 600 mile weekend

Another congrats to you! Can't wait to hear you are thoughts after you put some miles on it. One thing really made me jump about mine is the previous owner had done just about all the things I wanted to it. He took the financial hit and I got the reward. 🙂

Are you freekin' serious? I can't imagine how they could get away with selling a system like that.

That's what I keep hearing. I have a friend with the 103 (no stage 1) on his Road King and he loves it. I can only imagine it on the Dyna with 120lb less weight and stage 1.

I rode my 2005 FXDI from NY to Sturgis then south back to NY, total about 5000 miles on the stock seat. However I upgraded to the Corbin and loved it. I had a Mustang on my Street Glide and Road King but preferred the Corbin.

I do plan to try and make due with the stock seat on the LR though since I don't see any major road trips with Corvid and all the rioting protesting.

Same here and with 5500 miles it is not even broken in yet plus I am not fan of HD Corporate and prefer not to give my hard earned money to them.

Good idea, that or craigslist. I bought my sundowner in like new condition for $75 bucks. Same goes for my highway pegs. I've sold many parts on craigslist and usually its just me clearing out the garage so I let stuff go cheap
