Had mine for a month so far. done a bit over 2200Ks so far, 400 this afternoon. l've put FXDC midmounts and risers on it and for me the riding position is just about perfect... The engine seems to have a real sweet spot around 2600 RPM, around about a dollar fifteen in top, perfect cruising speed for me...
Had no idea that was doable... since the headlight is mounted to the eyebrow... what did you do to mount that?
Does putting on a different intake and Vance & Hines pipe void your HD warranty? Just curious as to the consequences of doing a few simple bolt-on mods. Seems like many HDs I see have done the Stage 1 thing (intake, pipes, and remap).
You did exactly what I thought of doing and I wanna know how ya did it. I demo'd a Low Rider and a Switchback. I loved the seat and floorboards of the SB and everything else on the LR.
So are those the floorboards for a Switchback or aftermarket? You happen to have the part number? Price?
The floorboards/fwd. controls are from HD. Part Number 50500247. $399.95 at your local dealer if they aren't still on back order. The pipes are Rinehart 2 into 2. The floorboard kit won't fit with the stock exhaust. Hope this helps.

Interested to know what any of the Low Rider owners paid for the 1000 mile service. I am not a mechanical person and will have to rely on the dealer to do it.
Whatever it cost for the 3 quarts of Castrol 20W-50. I already had a quart of primary fluid out in the garage and I also had 85W-140 gear lube on the shelf. Oh, I did go to the dealer for one of those fancy chrome filters. It's about a 2 beer job (also well stocked in the garage).

Thanks Jeff, it does, but it led to a couple more questions. Did that come with shift linkage, a plug for the primary cover where the old shifter resided?
Also, how did you ensure you picked an aftermarket pipe that would fit?
