First ride since Sun. Will hit 17000 miles on my way home from work later today. Removed horn and secured the wires. Going to wait a little bit on getting a replacement bracket as I may be trading or selling my current bike for a LR S. Hoping 2018 LR S comes with some color choices.
I was thinking about a new Low Rider since they came back with the 103". I really liked the Low Rider S but wasn't impressed with the test ride and just thought it would take too much money to get the full potential out of the 110". I went back to the dealers website to look at the used bikes and saw this one. It was upgraded almost exactly the way I would have done it and more. They must have put at least $4K into the bike, maybe more. A new one with these upgrades would have cost me $21K. I got it for $14K out the door...

Just under 5K miles...not a scratch on it...really a nice bike AND I got the SE Super Tuner Pro tuner with it that Harley doesn't even sell anymore. The bikes putting out 95 ft. lbs. of torque, my Stage IV is only 105 and 230 lbs. heavier...this bike is fast, yet cruises great and I'm getting 45-46 MPG! Pics in my photo album...
My 2015 Low Rider had a Lindby Custom Engine Guard/Highway Peg mounted and I didn't like it because my feet were kind of high, so I took it off. I installed the Drag Specialties Highway Peg Mounting kit that attaches at the lower end of the downtubes and Willie G pegs. Now I find out that because they have moved the mid controls a couple of inched forward, I don't have the clearance like I had on my 2006 Low Rider and there is simply not enough room to use the highway pegs comfortably. One option is to reinstall the Lindby and mount the Willie G pegs on that. Any other ideas? Looking for a little guidance here and curious as to what others have done. Now I know why the LR doesn't come with highway pegs as stock equipment anymore and I wish Drag Specialties would quit listing this item as fitting the late model bikes, because it doesn't...

Yes, the LR has some get up and go. All the go I need these days.
