Very nice Amber Whiskey and Black LR. How do you like it?
For me, the LR is the perfect bike. Everything you need and nothing you don't (other than a weak horn bracket).

Smooth ride, plenty of power and ABS. I'd wanted this model since I saw one in a showroom in 1978. I'm planning on riding this shortly on Route 66 all the way from Chicago to L.A.

Well done! I have been a slacker. 100 degree days, 3 week vacations, and work have sidelined the LR. I am going to complete the install of my new air cleaner today, finally. I have hated that Heavy Breather look since its inception.

Noticed a loose cable while cleaning my bike today. Stopped by dealer and was told it was the cable to the oil pressure switch. Service manager said he just had another bike in for the same thing and ordered me the part.
Tried finding the sales manager but she was not in. Was going to ask about the 2018s. Service manager said he did not know anything about them.
Noticed my dealer got in a 2017 LR S. Hmmmm.

Been riding the commute clocking miles. Then the city repaved sections of the roadway. Ok, really needed it but then they put down ribbon snakes. I hate ribbon snakes!!! You know, that asphalt tar to seal the cracks. Let me tell, when new applied they're a major pain.
