I don't know about the Fat Bob being the "best handling", but it sure wins the "UGLY" award in my book! I HATE those two headlights and that weird looking front tire.
Mine did the same thing...must be a bad design to happen to both bikes. I was lucky, it was covered in the warranty.
Mine broke a few weeks past warranty for me. The horn is completely exposed to the air hitting it between the forks. If the horn were placed sideways, I do not think there would be a problem.
Brought my first low rider in 96, off the floor. Great bike. Stepped up through other bikes like softail, now have 2015 limited with disconnect tour pack and really like it. If I got another bike it would be a low rider or breakout

I would take a LR or LR S over a Breakout. BO is a good looking bike but I have watched a number of BO reviews on youtube and there are some handling issues with that bike. Also it is something like 70 lbs heavier.
I just got a great deal on a 2015 Low Rider. Two-Tone paint, all chromed out, lots of Willie G stuff, detachable windshield, detachable sissy bar, Stage I, Cobra Speedster Short Swept exhaust, ABS brakes and only 5000 miles. 78 HP, 95 TQ

I had a bagger and a LR for a long time. Just baggers the last 5-6 years and just bought a '15 LR, loaded and low mileage, so I'm back to a Stage IV Limited and a Stage I Low Rider...
