No, just replaced the original silencer, runs great with an FP3 and an SE Stage 1 filter kit.

I'm 5'10" with a 30 inch mid-seam any thoughts on full forwards vs. Reduced reach, on my fat Bob I always felt slightly too extended with the full forwards, but I sat on a wide glide with them and felt fine, weird huh

I am 30" inseam also; went with the forward controls. Happy to have made the change.

I am a 30" inseam too , I went with the forward controls cause it felt a little cramped to me too. However to get comfortable with the forward controls I had to add that piece to the seat and roll my bars forward.. without those two things I felt like I was stretching to much to ride and was uncomfortable .

I personally like my feet under me. This is the main reason I went with the LR over a Fat Bob. They no longer offer the Fat Bob with the option of mid controls.

did you go with the full forwards, did you keep the stock pegs for an alternate place to put your feet? Did you do it yourself? Did you have to remove the primary?
Just appreciate the input sir!!

That's the beauty of keeping the stock pegs, feet under me in the twisties, thinking I'll stay in same gear for the most part, and can just use the front brake,
Also I find it awkward to use the rear brake and shift for that matter with the further forward mids, I might not feel that way with normal mids because I have two
Other bikes with standard riding positions ( Triumph Scrambler and Honda CB1100) which I love, comfy all day on

Does anybody know what the recommended shift/speed ranges are?
Like what gear to use when just cruising on a 50 mph road...5th?

run it in as tall of gear you can without the motor lurching and jerking, this will help your gas mileage.
