Yup, I agree completely. If I wanted a sport bike, I would have kept my Ninja 800. It cracks me up the guys who are always trying to see how fast they can go or race each other on the Dragon. I'm like, "man, if you really want to show off how fast you are, go get a number and a sponsor and hit the track with REAL racers...then we'll see how good you really are...otherwise it's just silly." The rest of us bought a mortorcycle to enjoy the ride and that's just what I am trying to do. Thanks, FXD, for getting it, and the feedback. Anyone have any problems with hand numbing with taller apes on long rides? .
We'll put sir!, as long as u don't death grip ur bars and keep blood circulating in ur hands then I think your safe... No hand numbing here
Would u know what length the stock 2014 street bob came with?

I agree with going +4, thats what I did, with the exception of front brake. The front brake I went +2. These cables are a little pricey, but look great and are top quality.
I've got mini apes on my Fatbob with a total of 12" of rise. I ride twisties here in Norcal all the time. I don't see the mini apes as an issue at all. Obviously the Dynas aren't comparable to sport bikes so I'm not even going to feed into that convo. I ride my bike pretty hard and it handles great with the apes. Also, for what it's worth, that cone challenge could easily be done with apes...
Well I only used that video because it was the quickest Youtube result I found. I was talking about those next-to-impossible cone weaves that you see police officers do on white Electra Glides...
5'10 17 inches and i had some similiar concerns prior...i was pleasentoy surprised on howwell the taller bars handle...i have no problem with my particular riding style..on the other hand i dont have a dragon where i live so...
Ever since I switched to Z bars my right latissimus dorsi usually takes a beating even on short trips around town. I should've kept the apes, though I opened up like a parachute on long straights when riding at high speeds, which sucks.
