Haha I figured I'd get a laugh outta that. I didn't know if laying it down flat or not would dump fluids out anywhere or else I'll definitely do that next time! I think that's what it is too. How big a job is it to get to that gasket?

Mine had a seal leaking behind the clutch assembly into the gearbox. It left a small drop every time I parked. Not a lot, but enough to be annoying. It was like a dog marking its territory...LOL..The whole primary had to come off to get to it. Got a pro indie mechanic to do it, as the potential cost of stuffing it up was a bit to high for me. He was still 100 bucks cheaper than the dealer.

To replace the o ring between the inner primary cover and the engine, you must of course remove the inner primary cover.

That entails removing the outer cover, compensator, clutch and primary chain, then the inner cover.

Not a hard job, and I think it is one of the jobs any do it yourself guy should go for. If it doesn`t get bad, you may consider leaving it and tackle it over the winter. You could do the job in a weekend, we can talk you through it.

Here's some "preventative" care. Move (rotate) your rubber bumper for the jiffy stand down so that you won't hear a clunk pretty soon.

That's funny, I actually noticed today how the stand didn't hit that when I was down there!
