Well, I'm an old fart and do not ride fast anymore, but given today's bikes and cages, 110 is really not all that fast. There are some legal speed limits of 85 on some interstates and others with no speed limits (the safe and sane). I would guess that most of us at one time or the other have far exceeded the posted speed limit. Let's not condem the OP, but say that we are glad he is OK. And can ride another day. Lesson learned, maybe slow down just a tad. Just think, had he been on a sport bike, he might have went down at 175 or so.
