You went down at 110, and you got a nice bruise and some road rash. To make your bike right it will cost you about $100. I've read posts where guys have dropped their bikes in a garage and suffered more serious bodily injuries and caused more damage to their bikes. All in all, I'd say you made out pretty well.
I dunno what your supposed to do but God must have further plans for you...whether you are a believer or not
I've never done 110 on a motorcycle and never will. Done 140 in a Corvette Convertible though and that was scary enough on 4 wheels. Not the speed it's the people who changes lanes half mile ahead of you and your on their *** in 3 seconds.
My harley pleasurable speed is in between 50-60mph
Some days you're the bug, some days you're the windshield...
Glad your injuries were not worse...painful but not too serious. I have been up around Sand Mountain/Ft. Payne and that area many times...used to live up there once upon a time and still have family around that area...I want to know where the f'k you found a stretch of road straight enough to get it up to 110?
Glad ur alive! Went 120 on my dyna stock 3 weeks after I got it (got a little too excited after upgrading from the 883) but got a $500 ticket moments later and have slowed down quite a bit since. Never been down tho. Thatsa fast moving shart I bet lol
