You are lucky, or blessed. How you and the bike came out in one piece is almost unbelievable. I would think at 110 and even not coming to a sudden stop, at the very least the bike would be totaled.
Damn big mik where is your thred cus I do not want to see your nasty pics here.its really not about you dude.
Thanks CPT Obvious. What you took from my post speaks volumes. If you don't want to see the pics don't look.
For those others that may think I'm trying to hijack the thread, my post was simply another way to tell the OP that even though it hurts and looks bad, he is lucky and it could be worse, thankfully it wasn't, heal quick, and keep riding.
Almost every thread has at least one hijack. LOL
It's all good.
big mlk that looks rough. I was lucky enough to fair better than some.
My dad once said to me, son if your not making mistakes your not doing anything.
All my life I have loved speed. Motorcycles is how I preferred to do it. I drag raced professionally for quiet a few years. Got out of it due to a bad accident. Made a mistake last year and went to the track for a swap meet. We were on our SS106 wide glide. I hit the track a few times. Later that night I knew I jonesing to try again. That is why I bought and built my super glide. It will hit 120 in seconds.
I made a mistake. I live on a mountain with some good straights on it, some are almost 1/2 miles long. I can to 130 and stop in that distance easy enough.
I knew this bike was just too much for my old body and reflexs. Just not as fast as I was.
We all know speeding is wrong but how many does it. I mean 58 in a 55 is speeding. I have one spot I do this at. In front of my house. No houses, no people, no dogs.
Oh, the bike is ready to ride.
I'm good today, swollen but movement is good with no pain.
I will heal. I will be just fine with a valuable experience behind me.

Dirt, how does that song go? Not as fast as I once was but as fast once as I ever was.
Just figure you ain't living if you ain't trying. Glad your bike is back up, and that your movement is free. Swelling will go away. Again, glad your ok. And your right sometimes it feels good to turn that throttle.
