Dude! Your attitude towards this speaks volumes. Whenever you push the envelope, the potential for things to go bad is high. Shame on some of these guys for their harsh words. IF you've never wicked that throttle just for the hell of it, just because you CAN, Well, then you don't know what you're missing. Living life means different things to different people. Some are content... and other want to get that adrenaline fix. Ride safe and heal up fast!

Please tell us how it happened. I saw the bit about the 1/2 mile strip and that you made a mistake but some of us are curious as to what mistake you made.

He said he made a mistake. He didn't make any excuses or blame it on anything outside of his control. I'm good with that if he doesn't feel the need to go any further. Remember where your at. Look at all the dumb *** posts so far just over the fact that he was speeding OMG! speeding! This place is full sniveling assed *****'s who will make 10 more pages of what he did wrong if gives any more details

my wife is E.D. RN and she says all the Harley riders she sees that aren't DOA say that they hit gravel!... wonders why I've never went down because of gravel in all my years, haha... I've had two horrendous crashes however with multiple broken bones each time... and a impressively spectacular one that I walked away from... don't ever let anyone tell ya that a water landing is always soft tho...
