As far as I'm concerned, if I clear them and they don't come back, it doesn't matter what caused it. If I clear it and it does come back, which has never happened, I will take it to the dealer and let them figure out why...

Just had a quick thought here guys , .... The dealer told me that the Dynojet software once installed stated that it was all downloaded correctly and set up to my bikes specification.
However the engine management light stays on once the HD computer is connected and runs its diagnostics and as stated above it shows the two fault codes.
So if hd_sob is correct and the faults that are showing are reset , in theory they shouldnt come back unless there was a realproblem ?
Has anybody else had a similar problem to this or is it unique ?
Thanks

jase

If you clear them, then check them again and they are still gone, the situation corrected itself. It happened to me once when I got the scoot back from some dealer work. I forget what they were doing, but whatever it was caused them to pull some DTCs. I cleared them and they didn't come back. Hasn't happened since.

Not for nuttin' but HOW did you know the codes? are they in the service manuals (I have a SM but have not had a need to even look for them)? if yes, how would someone know what the error codes were that were causing the "Oh CRAP!" light to come on? Is there diagnostic software available? just curious.

Just looking to pick up a ting or two?
Sounds like the dealer was installing it and they had a scanner hooked up. Or they did the self diag that when you do a number of sequences it tells you in code. This info is all in the service manuals yes. And now on this post by a member taking the time to post the info.

What's interesting is that unless Bobber M has an International bike,
it does not have an intake solonoid or exhaust actuator.

Mine will do this everytime I hookup my laptop to the PC3 and change anything on the PC3 with the 9v battery hooked up to it. Dunno why. I clear the codes and they don't ever come back unless I mess with the PC3 for whatever reason. Does the same on my 07 King.

Edit: Just looked went out and cleared mine as I had been meaning to do this myself, and the code was P1004 from the last time I adjusted the 0 throttle position on it. Not the same codes you are getting... Did they clear and not come back after running it?

That was posted on here some months back. I just dug it out of my personal archives. It probably already does exist in the DIY and/or tech forums. The info related to 2006 Dynas. I do not know if it is applicable to 07 or HDI Dynas.
