Revlimiter?

Revlimiter?
What does it feal or sound like if you hit the rev limiter? While riding today I got on it pretty good and in the top end of second gear it just died. Hard to explain but it felt and sounded like it ran out of gas just went BLAAH! Shifted to third and it was fine. i didnt think i had the RPMs up that high but then again I dont have a tack or know what it sounds or feel like that hit the revlimit.

You hit the rev limiter.
If the bike had a "hard" rev limiter, it would have made a slight backfiring noise....H-D factory rev limiters are "soft" rev limiters and they just do what yours did.
