Been looking for thinner grips for my smaller hands, recently sat on a sporty 48 I believe and noticed theyr grips are thinner than dynas, would a sporty grip fit my bike?
If you have the stock bars they will fit...why not check into some stock grips from a new low rider. They are suppose to be for smaller hands and a lot of owners have already switched them out. Post it in the WTB classifieds here and maybe you can pick some up for dirt cheep.

Good idea!! I'll check out the low rider grips at the local HD see how they feel thanks !
On my 03 Low Rider the grips were huge too when I got it 2 months ago. I bought a set from my local HD dealer. The smallest HD listed online were 1.3" diameter. All the grips on HD site give the diameter.
I swapped my grips on my 06 street bob for thinner sportster grips and they're much better. I have quite big hands but the fat harley grips don't give me a feeling of confidence with the controls. I'm glad I swapped.
If you want thinner grips that are precision made in the usa have a look at perfomance machine renthal grips. They are really well made and not real expensive because you know if you buy stock grips from HD They are gonna nail you for them!.

I currently have the old school coke bottle grips on my bike right now do I just cut the grips off the throttle ?
One of my best upgrades for Iron was getting Bitwell Kungfu grips ($19) and getting rid of stock sportster grips - they are just horrible and I'm pretty much sure were designed by some escaped **** scientist to punish people in US for beating their *** in WW2.
So thin and uncomfortable - they're just killing my hands on any ride longer than 10 min.
