Just in case that this would be helpful for somebody else also.
I had a hard time getting the shifter adjusted after installing the Kuryakun mini floorboards to my 2013 FXDB as the stock shifter linkage arm was non adjustable and the grooves in the shifter shaft were too coarse to allow for correct shifter arm angle. Either my boot would not fit under the shifter or the shifter was way too high.
Found this adjustable shifter link from Bungking. Stainless steel and very rigid compared to the flimsy stock part. I can see the stock shifter link breaking up at some point as it seems to be a real cost reduction part. Apart from the adjustability the new linkage made the shifts also much more precise than before.
Hello! I have considered doing this exact modification on my 16' Street Bob, I realize this is an old thread but thought I would see if you might answer some questions. After doing this mod, did you find that you scraped the mini floor boards more often when cornering? Did you find these to be more comfortable on long rides/in general? Did you end up keeping them on for a while, or still have them on, and would you recommend this mod? Did you torque the bung King shifter linkage to a particular inch lbs? (don't think they mention that in the manual)
There was nothing wrong with that setup but I didn't have it on for very long. I always felt bit cramped with the mids and the mini-floorboards did not completely solve that issue. Forwards never felt right to me. There was no more scraping than with the standard setup. I did not tighten to any specific torque but not too tight and used loctite of course.
I ended up with full floorboards. Could not be happier and don't see myself going back.

BTW, I very much dig the color of your bike!

Hello, thanks for the prompt reply, and answering all my questions. That set up you have now looks legit, I bet it took a lot of work to figure out. I guess I'll have to give the mini-floorboards a try and see how they work for me. I prefer the mid position when I'm riding more aggressively - but pegs are just not adequate for longer rides. Glad to hear you didn't experience clearance issues. And - thank you!
