Ive had my sb for about 4 days now and i am absolutely crazy about it, so smooth and comfortable, the only problem i have is its kickstand, its a pain in the *** to find it, and i keep touching the derby cover which is extremely hot, good think i wear pants all the time. and when you are sliding it to put the bike down it rubs the floor most of the time, almost seeming like its too low.
you guys have any problems about this? do they make a better after market kickstand??
Yeah that's what I do so it won't drag, just weird how its so low it drags. lol
If they made them any shorter your bike could topple right over, especially on a hill.
One thing though , which does not apply to a new bike, if you bought it used and the PO had it lowered the stand would be real hard to pass the ground with and would stand almost straight up once you lean it over.
I had the same issue with the kickstand when I got my SB. I'm so used to it now, I don't even think about it.
But I agree, it should be just slightly longer or at least have the little heel helper bar sticking out like the Softail Deluxe's have.
