Just got an 08 super glide, it has forward controls on it and what im guessing is the stock seat. I still feel a little bunched up, would like to stretch out a little more. Any options? are all forwards made in different lengths? Also my foot break is way to high it seems and i dont think its adjustable, i either have to ride with my foot barely on the brake or under it on the peg but to get back to the brake i have to move my whole leg out and back because im bunched up, im 6'2" 34" inseam.
Thanks guys, i will get some pictures up asap
You can adjust the placement of the brake lever with the linkage.
Im 6'3" and have 3" forward extensions i bought used off ebay and had them coated and ive got a C&C fastback 2up seat. The seat sits you slightly lower and back further. I had the seat before the extensions and it alone made a difference.
The adjustments are limited. When you have very long legs ( like you and I do ) your foot will end up at a funny angle due to the bend in your knee. If the pegs were further away this would be mitigated significantly.
You can adjust that down a couple of inches from it's current position it looks to me, check out mine in the attached photo and see what I mean.
Looks like the forwards on yours are in about the same place as mine but my brake pedal is much lower. It was like yours when I bought it (must of been a shorter dude) and I could not brake without lifting my foot off the peg.
You want it to where you can apply the brake by merely pressing your toe down while comfortably resting on the peg.
