Default Inexpensive chrome wheels for an 06

I have been looking for a set of chrome wheels to replace my stock set of spokes on my 2006 Wideglide. It appears that the dealership has the by far.. the least expensive prices. The reason I want to switch them is I need new tires anyway and I want to go tubeless.
Are there any places online that sell reasonably priced chrome rims. The ones that I have been finding have been $1000+ each. Harley has different styles for around $650.00ea.
I was thinking about going with a 2005 Duece wheel in the back.

I bought a set of FXD mags off ebay and had them painted chrome. Been 2 years and has held up.

Sounds like you made it up your mind for at least the rear rim. Grab an accessory catalog or hit HD's website for part numbers. You can save some money buying from a discount dealer like Kutter HD or Surdyke HD.

For chrome mag wheels, the HD wheels are cheaper than any of the aftermarket stuff. I ordered my through surdyke HD. They have sales and/or free shipping sometimes too.

It just surprised me as to how much chrome wheels cost. There are SO MANY Harley's around here that have custom wheels. I had no idea that to replace a set of Harley cast or spoke wheels with a nice set of chrome ones with tires it would set me back almost $2500 or more!

I have a chrome Deuce rear wheel and a chrome spoke front wheel, with good tires on them I will sell you. It also has the matching chrome pulley and brake rotors.

Don't forget the wheel install kit ($80) labor to install the kit, labor to install the tire and wheel on the bike. it works out to about the same cost after the Moco does their usual on other fees you don;t think about until it's time to pay.

Are you looking for a 19x2.15? I got some in stock that I am blowing out. let me know and I can check stock and get you a great discounted price.

That's the reason I went aftermarket. That $650 looked nice initially but when I added all of the fees.

I don't have near 2500 in mine with the new wheels and install kit. Of course I did the work myself, which is quite simple. The rotors and pulleys I just switched to the new wheels. I then sold my stock wheels on ebay to recover some of the costs. In the end I have a little over a grand in my chrome ones.

Some of us have done the Fat spokes, which are tubeless also.

Typically under $600 for a DNA Fat spoke.

I went with a cheap Deuce rear painted black for low maintenance since my bags never come off.
