2014 FXDC Error Codes P0122_P0108
HELP !!!
My 2013 Dyna Super Glide Custom has P0122 TPS/Throttle Position Sensor Open/Low EFI and P0108 Map Sensor Failed High Carb - P0108 Map Sensor High EFI error codes... bike runs rough at idle..but runs.. but give it any gas and it loses power and dies... it has 8800km and the day before it all happened (Sept 2.) Mr HD Concessionaire in Viterbo Italy did its second oil change and check...200euro by the way.. I am not best pleased !!
Meanwhile Mr Friendly HD Concessionaire in Rome has me waiting 9 days to look at the bike as it is under warranty. (appointment Sept. 11 ).. this is the first time I have bought a newish bike in 30 years biking.. (I've had this one only 2 months !!) is this an idiot fault and readily fixable or has a sensor or two sensors broken at the same time on a bike that is 18 months old??
Sod's law I know...all is possible...especially on motorbikes, but it is strange that the diagnostics give errors on two things in the same place.. I think the TPS has gone.. and is confusing the MAP sensor as a result...anyone got any experience of this?? I have of course taken the air filter off, inspected and cleaned everything.. nothing obviously wrong.. tried to measure the resistance of the TSP.. the Omhs don't increase as throttle opens, though my testing could very well be dodgy in this as I am by no means an expert in this..far from it in fact..(as you will have by now gathered)

ps... how do you cancel the error history? and why doesn't the bloody HD owners manual tell you this gem of information ???
