Tire recommendations
I live in Colorado Springs. Although we get snow from time to time, we can usually ride from time to time all winter long. The stock tires have served their time and now I'm looking for suggestions on make n model tires. I'm gonna replace front and back. And am looking for a tire that will work on cold roads in the winter, and last through all seasons. Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated
Search around, you'll see a lot if guys running Michelin commander II's, Metzler 880 and 888's, and Avons.
Personally I really like the Commander II's they're a little cheaper than the other two, great grip, excellent wear, and sports bike like handling. I've always had great luck with Michelin tires, I have commander II's on my shadow and out of 5 or 6 different tires I've ran on it they're the best ones yet. Also I think they're the best value because they're cheaper per mile to run and still have great grip and handling... They're cheaper per mile than more inexpensive tires.

I too run Michelin Commander IIs. FWIW, here in Cheyenne, WY, we are at the same altitude as you are in Colorado Springs and our weather is quite similar (I have a cousin in the Springs). If anything, winter temps are about 10 degrees colder here. The Commander II tires do quite well in the cold.
I put MCIIs on my bike the rear one in may and the front one this weekend. Just pulled into the hotel in Nashville after a 400 mile ride today. They were very smooth and stuck well. I would not hesitate on getting MCIIs again. I bought mine at Rocky Mountain ATV for $253 shipped to my house. Mounted them myself. New tubes and rim strips with Dyna Beads for balance.
