Just a heads up. My buddy has that power commander V on his 2010 Street Glide. On his 15k service. The bike had trouble starting and was back firing. Took it back to the Stealership and they had to call the manufacture to see if it was bad. But the manufacture just sent them an updated version of the software to download. Just seems funny that with a new power commander, you have to keep upgrading the software.

I've not had that prob, nor have I heard of it from anyone else. But its possible that if HD updates the ECM software that the PC may have to have a update as well. Not out of the ordinary in the software world.

For example when Apple updates the iphone or ipad software the the apps must follow suite to operate correctly.

I believe this all started by HD changing the original air filter and not putting back the exact same style they took out. But my 08 SG has the same power commander and not one problem after 34k. And I have the Thunder Max on my Ultra. Jury is still out on that commander. But I like it....
