Rain shorted out the ECM..??
I have an '08 Street Bob
I was traveling with my bike on a trailer when a storm hit out of the blue. It rained on my bike for two days while driving through three states.
It started right up when I got home and parked it in the garage (where I normally keep it) on Monday. It's Wednesday and I went to go for a ride but my bike wouldn't start..... I had to put it on the tender and it only clicked, wouldn't turn over at all. The lights stay on when it's connected to the charger but when it's removed, the whole thing dies off. Water was in my speedometer. I know it shorted something out but I'm just not sure what all it has affected. I'm guessing it fried the ECM & ??????
