Eliminating road king Dash

I am preparing to install a Paul yaffe stretched tank on my 2004 road king custom and I am wondering what I will need to do to eliminate the speedo and indicators. Can I just unplug them? What's the proper way to accomplish this ? I will be relocating the ignition somewhere. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Can you relocate or use different indicators? I'm always a fan of being legal (speedo) I would think (not for sure) you could just unplug them.

Which Lancaster do you live in?! The original one will require you to have a working speedo, so check to make sure you can remove yours and still be legal. As for disconnecting things, make sure you insulate all exposed electrical connectors and leave them safe from rubbing or other damage.
