I'm going to remove the fuel gauge on my 08 fxdf.
going to replace it with a flush dummy cap,
I am assuming that my low fuel warning light will be lit continually, any tips for resolving the light issue.
I have searched thinking maybe there is a resistor or something similar on the market.
thanks for any tips.

Reason: Double posted
Fuel low warning light is not based off of the gauge but rather a wire tied in going to the gauge. The speedo has a measurement circuit for the resistance coming from the sender to illuminate the light. Try disconnecting the fuel gauge and see if I am right.
