Default Front turn signals

My 07 FLHT rear brake light and the turn signals are working independently from the front turn signals which are on, but don't flash. Is there an independent flasher for the front?

No, there is only one flasher unit, that is to say when it was new your bike only had one! It has one of two modules for the flashers, one version includes security, the other version does not. You can see what it looks like on a parts website, look for 'SWITCHES & CIRCUIT BREAKERS'.

Default Front signals.

Yes, the directionals on the dash flashes, the rear signals flash accordingly, but the front signal light are brighter than normal, but I wanted to confirm that the hazard lights flashed. They do not flash .....I thought.
I got real close, covered the headlight and saw the tiniest bit of light flashing. It may be a ground wire?

There is certainly something odd going on there. One clue is they are brighter than normal and those tiny flashes are a further clue. See if you can track down where the little blighters are coming from! I suspect it is either a damaged wire, wrong connection of some sort, or indeed a dodgy ground.

I wonder if the bulbs are installed upside down. . . same power goes to both pins in the socket just the filiments in the bulbs are different, you shouldn't be able to install them upside down but with wear on the socket the keys can get enlarged.

Without your comment, I'd still be searching for a mythical ground, but I was so sure that I couldn't put them in backwards, it was the last thing I checked only to find out, you were wrong. I can and did install the bulbs in backwards. Thank you. I may ride embarrassed, but I ride with front turn signals.

Sometimes it is the simple things that get us and we tend to overlook them. Ride safe.
