Just received a Sunpie headlight for my '16 Breakout. Just wondering when mounting the Sunpie into the headlight bucket, do I reuse the inner and outer mounting rings ? The Sunpie seems like a real tight fit with the inner ring, but it does fit. My biggest concern is the only thing holding the Sunpie in place is the outer chrome ring. Is this enough ?
If by 'inner ring' you mean the ring with the small ears on it, yes you use both. I know I did when I mounted the Sunpie LED in my '17 Sportster. The outer chrome ring is all that held the stock headlight in.
Don't know about your bike but, it was a tight fit in the bucket since the Sunpie has a plug on it's wiring harness, and the stock headlight just had the prongs on it that plugged directly into the bikes harness. Took a few attempts to get everything situated correctly so the headlight fit back into the bucket.

Ya, it took me a couple of tries before I could get it close. Even then I had to push the Sunpie into the bucket pretty hard to get it to fit. But thanks for letting me know I've installed it correctly (I think).
