Hey guys, I did some searching and read some threads but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. I have an 07 FXDB and am having issues with my fob antenna. For a long time it worked fine until last summer it started intermittently giving me issues. Would work for a few days and then wouldn't work a couple times. One day I rode out to the mountains with a buddy for a beer and leaving the bar my alarm went off. FOB wouldn't do anything. Punched in the code and it disarmed fine. Since then I've just been punching in the code, partly because I didn't want to get into it last summer, then it was winter and it was too cold, and also I couldn't find my antenna. It's starting to warm up now and I want to get it fixed before I start riding so I finally found the antenna. It wasn't under the seat, it had been routed down under the ECM and was beside the smart security system box. Pulled it back up under the seat and made sure it was plugged in properly. Now my fob is working sometimes. I'll jiggle the wiring and it will work and then it won't work. I'm trying to figure out if it's the wiring or the antenna. Tried testing the continuity of the wire and i'm getting nothing but i'm also not really able to get a multimeter plug into the tiny holes on the wiring. I don't know a whole ton about electrical but i'm trying to figure out where to go from here..... any help would be appreciated.
Did you add any electrical accessories close to the time the issue started. I know things like audio amplifiers or cheap electronics can cause RF interference that can have a negative effect with fob communication.

No nothing at all. Since moving it up under my seat it has worked about 50% of the time. I'm wondering if maybe it's just the plug that the antenna plugs in to. It isn't like the handlebar control ones though that you can take apart and replug so i'm not sure what the best way to try and fix it is. That cord is PN 70617-07.
I have the same troubles fxdwg 2010, suppose bad antenna or all sss unit, my issue started few days after riding in heavy rain, is it just by chance? Controlled connectors, wd40 used into. Doesn't matter which fob or battery, sometimes alarm disarmed after several attempts. Any idea?
