So I lost my last fob. Purchased a brand new one. I did see the sticky, but it does not have new fob assignment info. Right now I have to punch in the security code every time I want to start the bike, this is a pita. Is there a Fob Assignment procedure or not? I have seen instructions for button fob, but mine is buttonless L2C0028TR.
OK. Problem solved. I decided to get rid of security system. It appears as simple as removing the TSSM module and replacing the turn signal flasher with custom one. I can't stand dealers and their pricing. My bike has never been in a dealership after I picked it up from there, the year was 2007. Will not go there for this fob assignment, either.
Pros: Can use LED bulbs without ballasts. I never liked the automatic turn signal canceling feature, it will be gone, good. This whole security system drains battery, now this problem will be gone, too.
Parts I will use: 2 tiny latching relays from eBay, less than $5 total, a flasher (LED compliant) $9. Total cost of project - $14, plus some fun with soldering iron.
If anyone wants this set I'm removing from my bike, PM me. It will be the TSSM module, siren and one unassigned fob. Will add the ECM if desired (if I can find it in my garage).

if you still have it ( doubt it) Im interested
thanx
As a matter of fact I do, I never was too active trying to sell it. What parts do you exactly want. I have the TSSM module, antenna, siren with harness and installation bracket and one unassigned fob. There is also ECM, it is from 2007 Sportster, it may fit other models when reprogrammed. Also you can start using it right away, I will give you the PIN to deactivate the alarm manually. It is a pita to punch the code in every time you start the bike, but you can ride like that.
I will have to look after work to see if I can figure out witch one it is. but if I get anything itll be TSSM module, antenna, siren with harness and installation bracket and one unassigned fob. I think the ecm is not needed
OK, found all this stuff. I also put the ECM on pic, you don't have to buy it. There is a piece of harness I'm not sure about. Perhaps it does not belong there, I'll include it anyway, just in case.
Obviously they look used - because they are used, with some road grim. I can confirm it all worked before I removed it from my bike. There is a lithium battery built into siren, it probably needs some time to charge after installation before it becomes functional.
Sorry for not replying earlier. I got to the bike yesterday and realized that I locked everything and I didnt have the keys. But I got them today so Im gonna try it again after work today. 1 question. Was it mounted vertical standing up or horizontal laying down?
