Default Voltage regulator, which is best?

I have an 05 RG and need to replace voltage regulator. Which is best, Cycle Electric or Drag Specialties? They both claim made in USA.

I use Cycle Electric on all my bikes. More voltage and amps generated than the stock. Especially on the older bikes. But do not use the three phase because if I meet a Harley regulator on the road, the two phase is usually in stock.

In over 40 years of owning Harleys I've only ever had one regulator fail and the replacement stock one was fine.

Volt regs have been a weak point for Harleys. Talk to evo and older guys and they would carry one with them on trips. You did volunteer how many miles on the bikes.

I've owned shovel, evo, twincam, sporty and Buells over the last 40+ years and my comment stands! They haven't been a problem for me and I certainly never carry such a spare. It's easy to read general statements, but we each have different experiences.

When the Stator on my 01 RG burned up I used the Cycle Electric three phase kit with ne stator and new regulator. Worked fine until I wrecked the bike. If I ever have to do mine in my 15 Ultra Limited I will use cycle electric again.
