Hello. Have a 92 fxrs. I had changed out the headlight and have a mess of wires from the old bucket. Headlight is wired turn signals. SO THE PROBLEM IM HAVING IS, when I hit left turn signal it stays on when I hit the right side I get no light.
What? 92......you come in here and ask a question right off. Don't we get a kiss or sum'ting 1st mate? Huh.
How do u like them apples?
It is optional my friend but you can click HERE and that will take you to our Welcome Area Only where you can introduce yourself as well as several of us would like to welcome you here.
That is also where you see the HDF rule. On the upper portion of the Welcome Area Only where the Stickys are. Like where to post what.
See below, this little chart thingy here is just for you mate.
.
This chart will help you post in the right forum.
I would suggest getting a factory service manual with the electrical diagrams if you don't have one already. Then take a look to make sure all the wires are connected correctly and are in decent shape.
BuzzCap7, why are you acting so phallic? This guy is posting on the correct forum, your post was completely uncalled for.
That beng said, yes a wire diagram is definitely in order. How much of the wires in the headlamp bucket is original harness and how much is messed with by the previous owner?

Hi there Zan. Is that how you read the post I made above?
I used that post many times. No one (that I know of until now) read it as unpleasant.
It was supposed to be joking and light-hearted. Huh. I'll have to look at the post again and maybe re-do future posts so it comes off more in a happy joking manner.
Oh, I almost forgot, if I am not mistaken, this post is in the right spot as you mentioned above Zan, bcs I moved it here from the wrong spot.
Thanks for your input Zan. Have a GREAT day!!

Reason: Added the, "Oh, ..." line.
92fxrs89: you posted a tech question in the welcome area of the forum, which is supposed to be for introductions only.
Your post is now moved to the correct area...

Let`s chase down one problem at a time:
Left signal stays on....Are both the front and rear turn signals illuminating (but not flashing)?
Are the front running lights in the turn signals both working?
