So in the US the British term indicators are called turn signals in the US. The indicators in the US would be the idiot lights on the instrument panel, passing lamps are the auxiliary lights in the front or fog lamps as some refer to them..
Sounds like the tombstone tail lamp is aftermarket, weird setup on the running lamp wires though, stock HD would be blue with violet to one turn and brown to the other with red/yellow stripe for brake. Is that how it comes out of the rear fender harness?
