I used one on my 1st Run Indian Scout and worked far better than the low cranking amps OEM and didn't have enough space to fit any Lead Acid Battery and never had a problem .. Think this link will tell you a lot more than I could spend typing a long time .. Gives good details of what works and what does not ..

No issues that I've seen, even HD is selling LiPo batteries.

Had the H-D lithium for a year now moved from old to new bike no issues. Did it for the weight reduction when the dealer had a 20% off sale.

You'd need to update your charging system on a 91 to run a lith. battery, they need between 13.8 and 14.4 volts constant to charge right and that year I think it barely gets to 13.4V maxed if it isn't tired.

Weight reduction on a Harley

It's like throwing deck chairs off the Titanic.

If lithium batteries are so good, I just wonder why new cars and motorcycles don’t come with them. After all, they have been available for a many years now.

I've been running a lithium battery on my chopper, under my butt, for 5 going on 6 years with zero problems
