If lithium batteries are so good, I just wonder why new cars and motorcycles dont come with them. After all, they have been available for a many years now.

Another thing about cold weather is turn your lights, radio, flasher whatever and although sounds strange in cold weather raises your voltage for proper starting as load warms the battery up ..

Yup, lith batteries need to " wake up" a bit to produce max output. Run one in my high compression shovel, if I just hit it she'll grunt and barely turn over. Turn the lights on for a couple minutes the hit the button it'll spin her normally.
