Hi, I am looking for some general info here.On a 2000 softail, I need help identifying the signals. The data link connector has 4 pins. #1 is light grn/red stripe connected to pin 11 of the gray connector of the ign module. # 2 is blk and connected to ground. #3 is labeled V/R and goes to pin 12 of the gray ign module connector. #4 is white with a black stripe and goes to pin 1 of the black ign module connector. What is the signal on pins 1,3,&4 of the data link ?
On the 2000 the data connector just links the ECU to the Scanalliser tool that most HD dealerships no longer have it wasn't until 2004 that other items were put on the data bus.

The W/BK is 12V from the Off/Run switch but I don't know what the LTGN/R or V/R are. Maybe Z can tell us?
Question for my Dyna 2002: Can I use the BK mass and WHT/BK ignition power for accessories power?
For example, charging my phone with a USB charger to 5 volts

That has been done by other Dyna owners.

A ground connection for the charger can be found under the seat or at the upper tripple tree.
