Default Problems after replacing battery

Just recently bought a 17 SG from my neighbor. The bike had sat for awhile and the battery went bad. He replaced the battery but after that, the boom box 4.3/infotainment won't turn on. With the bike running, the HD logo just cycles on and off but you can't get the radio or anything to turn on. This new technology is completely new to me. My last Harleys were Shovelheads if that tells you anything. How can I get this working again? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Forum from Utah.

Youtube is a good source for Harley questions. Not sure this will do it but worth a try. Go to 2:20 in the video.

If you don't have the owners manual, it available on line at Harley.com

Make your next new post over in the new member area. Just in case...

Welcome from North Beach, FL., USA!

Just in case you have not done this.

Add a Signature Line in your USER set up for your bike year, model, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with so others see at the bottom of all your post. This enables others to know your exact model if you ever ask a question.

And an Avatar of your favorite shot in the USER set up for the small picture others will see in the top left corner of your post.

Your all set.... Enjoy the ride! ______________

Try pulling the main fuse for 5 minutes. If that does not work you can try a master reset on the boom audio. You'll have to read the owners manual or possibly you tube may have the procedure.
