Default wire route, control

Just put on new handlebars for '21 Road Glide. Now I am having a small issue when putting the control covers on the right (throttle) side of the bike. The harness wire seems to be pinching more than it should, and the covers dont go together in a smooth way. Any pics out there on how its supposed to look, or be routed?

The harness from the switches is not supposing to be pinched between the housings. When it's done stock (outside) the handlebar has indents where the harness routed along the handlebar to the round opening in the switch housing and brake or clutch control brackets. When it is routed internally you just put the switches over the handlebar having the harness went inside the bar, install the grip and only after you put the housings over it left the harness inside, so nothing is pinched.

I don't have a picture readily available but I believe the control wires should exit the switch assembly through the ~inside~ diameter of the clamshell clamp. The dimple in the bars should keep it from getting pinched under the clamp.
