I have a 2011 Ultra Limited and recently the brake lights stopped working. I've checked the fuses and they are fine. I pulled the wires from the rear brake switch and jumped a wire across them but still now brake light. I do have ABS. I'm okay with a wrench but not much for electrical stuff. I looked at the front brake lever and it seems to be positioned correctly. I manually activated the front brake switch and still nothing.
After looking at another post about brake lights having the same issue as mine, I noticed in the picture that I might not have an ABS diode attached. Take a look at this picture and tell me if I’m missing that part and that’s probably my problem.
It the connector hanging in the air. This little connector was tucked up behind the master fuse.
