Weather has been way unseasonably warm here in Idaho this winter. Was going to take my bike for a spin, I've had it parked on the charger for around two months. I found that the key fob isn't connecting to disable the security system. The bike is a 2018 CVO Road Glide. I've tried replacing the battery in the FOB, no difference. Tried disconnecting battery power and then reconnecting in hope of rebooting, no change. Checked fuses and didn't see anything blown. Checked main battery voltage and its fine and fully charged. The other functions on the FOB, like lock/unlock also don't work at all. Yes, I can start the bike using my security code, but I'd like to get the FOB working again. I only have one working CVO fob for the bike.
I couldn't see any threads on this type of issue anywhere, would welcome any help or suggestions.

I always thought it in this trouble shooting threads good to list out bare bones symptoms and what was was done so dumb *** like me who can't read, don't get lost.
Do you have rodents. Mice are very fond of insulation. Especially the red ...
Last PM I did, mice droppings littered the top of the aluminum engine under the black plastic intake runners of the wife's Subaru.
I have traps and decon all over the garage and some in craw space that are tied and I can see them and check occasionally.
Some had squeezed in were the heatpump lines went thru. There was a couple boxes of siding and case of that pink fan fold underlayment. They were eating the pink stuff.
Least chewing it up. Some must have died . Never did find any. Took a while for the smell to go away.
The datoyna scanner that does abs flushes I believe also mates keys. Never did it. Though we don't know that is it. I would try different battery and wiggle it around the hole. And get fob tested.
