stereo/cd system

Default stereo/cd system

I just bought a detachable fairing and need to put in a cd/radio and 6x9 speakers. does anyone have any suggestions on marine or not, etc?

If it's an enclosed fairing you won't require marine grade. Just be sure it seals before installing a head unit. If it has gaps, then install the head unit and place a sheet of clear rubberized vinyl over the head unit to prevent any water from dropping down onto it is all you need. Any speakers will work and marine grade isn't required unless you want to spend more money.

Hey Plumb, I don't know if a car stereo can take the abuse of a motorcycle as far as the CD skipping from the rough ride? Is the Marine grade for moisture or the shock from the rough ride of the water? Just something to think about.
