Default E Glide speedometer stopped working

I have a 1999 FLHTC non electric (cable type) speedometer that stopped working. I took the front of the batwing off and checked the end of the cabe which does not look like it is broken. I raised the front wheel on the jack to see if the cable would turn when I spin the front wheel, nothing. One thing that also happened at the same time, the directional lights do not turn off on their own.

Anyone have any ideas? Thought it may be a bad cable, but with the directional lights working but not shutting off, I thougt maybe might be an electrical issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BK

i do believe your turn signal "cancellation" is speed controlled so I think I'd be looking at the cable again or the actual speed sensor itself.
