1999 FXR3 cam swap

I have a 99 FXR3 with an stock EVO motor. I want to swap the cam out for something a little more aggressive. I am not looking for a full out race cam, but just a little chop at idle, and something more for bottom end. Anyone have any ideas, what you might have done and what I am looking at before I start this project. Thanks in advance.

Andrew EV27 is a good cam for your requirements. I've used a number of them in Evos with good results. Great low end and midrange response.

Call over to the Evo forum, where you will find plenty of fellow Evo owners - and get exactly the same advice as above! I used an EV27 for many years.

While the 27, 3 and 46 are great cams no doubt, I'd suggest the Wood 6, now, then introduce a 10.0 cr Wiseco piston at a later date.
