EVO lifter problem

Default EVO lifter problem
Asking this for a friend cuz I didn't have a clue for an answer....First off it's an 80" stock bore and stroke EVO motor with a mild andrews cam, I believe it's an EV27 in a 1993 FXRP...He just got the bike put back together after swapping engine case's(stock HD)...Bike has ran awesome yesterday and today and then after about a 15mile ride today it developed an extremely loud valve lash sound...We got the bike home and after looking into it, two lifters in the same block are not pressurized, you can colapse them by hand....Would anyone have any ideas what could possibly cause this??? We are completely stumped.... Thanks guys

Does it have adjustable pushrods?

Check the lifter screen for blockage.

Make sure oil feed hose clamps are tight, not sucking air.
