What about the orings on the base? There is one large for the cylinder and one small for the oil drain, correct?

Not sure aboutthis head gasket. Manual says to put rthe oring on the oil passage boss and place the gasket over the oring. The OEM gasket hole was bigger for the oring. The Cometic gasket doesn't go around the oring, it sits on top of it. This makes the gasket uneven. Is the correct?

Don't put the gasket over the o-ring if that makes it uneven.

The gasket from the Cometic kit fits tight around the boss oil passage. The OEM gasket is larger diameter to make room for the oring. Seems to me, the new MULTI LAYER SEALING gasket is intended to be used without the top orings.
Just my guess.
