Speedo stops, take sensor out clean it alls good for 50 miles, then have clean again?

 

I was told to replace it, even if it worked after cleaning. Are you getting a lot of build up on it, if not thinking its just weak and time to replace pretty inexpensive

 

Just replace it. I had the same problem in '06, I cleaned it and the bike ran good enough to get me to the Harley shop in Topeka, where I bought a new one and threw it in the tour pak, thinking I would install it when I got to Sturgis.
I ended up replacing it along side a corn field in the bald *** Iowa sun.
